Crooked Parts at Cherry Lane Theatre
I’m so excited to share that my full-length play Crooked Parts has been selected for the 15th Annual Downtown Urban Arts Festival! For one night only Crooked Parts will be staged at Cherry Lane Theatre. Seating is limited, and the show is expected to sell out, so don’t wait to get your tickets!
Crooked Parts by Azure D. Osborne-Lee
Directed by Kirya Yvonne Traber
Featuring: Suzanne Darrell, Jamil AC Mangan, Tanisha Thompson, Jak Watson, and Ileya Williams
Freddy, a black queer trans man, returns to his family home in the South after his fiancé breaks up with him. Once there, Freddy must navigate the tension created by his transition and his brother’s serial incarceration. Crooked Parts is poignant, queer, funny, and definitely definitely black.
